A syringe is a small, simple piston pump based medical instrument used to administer injections of intravenous drugs into the bloodstream, or to draw a blood sample from a patient. Medical syringes can also be used to administer liquid medicine without the use of a needle. Mostly there are two types of syringes based on its tip. Leur lock syringes having screw like tip for more secured fitting with wither needle or connector and Leur slip syringes having smooth tip for quick and easy use. Syringes come in various sizes and are also used with different sizes of needles for different purposes.
